Executive Director

In 2024, Jessica became the eighth Executive Director of NYS AHPERD. She originally joined our staff in January 2004 as Director of Professional Development and Human Resources. Over the past 20 years, Jessica has successfully organized and managed our annual conference, webinars, meetings, newsletters, and other marketing efforts. Her extensive experience and passion for NYS AHPERD make her the ideal leader to guide the organization forward.

Executive Assistant & Program Manager

Lisa has been with us since September 2007. As Executive Assistant and Program Manager, she supports the Executive Director on various projects, serves as the SHAPE America health. moves. Minds. Coordinator, and handles Zone communications and conference registrations.

Finance Assistant & Membership Manager

Trish has been with us since June 2023 and in 2025 was promoted to Finance Assistant and Membership Manager. In this role, she manages all aspects of Zone’s finances, including accounts receivable and payable, and oversees membership registrations and renewals—from preparing quotes and processing deposits to invoicing and data entry.

Event and Conference Manager

Anna joined us in June 2026.  As the Event and Conference Manager Anna is responsible for the overall coordination of the annual conference as well as other professional development programs throughout the year.

Finance Assistant

Kathy joined us in June 2025 and is responsible for managing various aspects of NYS AHPERD and NYS AHPERD Foundation financial operations including accounts payable.

Computer & Website Specialist

Marc officially joined our team in July 2023 after consulting with us on website maintenance for over six years. As our Computer & Website Specialist, he is responsible for maintaining and updating our computer systems, software, website, and the NYS AHPERD App. He also manages the processing of CTLE credits. Administrative Assistant

Amy joined us in August 2025 as an Administrative Assistant. She is responsible for processing new and renewing memberships, printing and mailing membership cards and invoices, and supporting various projects as needed. If you have any questions about your membership, feel free to reach out to Amy—she’s happy to help.

Social Media Content Assistant

Carolyn joined us in 2024 as a Project Assistant, supporting the coordination of our awards program and other key initiatives.
