NYS Ahperd Sections

NYS AHPERD Sections are organized on the basis of professional interests.

Each Section has a president who represents its members and assists the conference manager in program planning for the annual conference.

New members are automatically listed as a member of each section. At any time, members can unsubscribe from membership in individual sections based on their interests. The COA Section is unique in that it has its own membership fee and is open to professionals or retirees serving or having served as a director, chairperson, or coordinator with responsibilities for health and/or physical education and/or athletic programs.

Council of Administrators Section

The NYS AHPERD Council of Administrators (COA) Section is intended for professionals serving as a director, chairperson, or coordinator having leadership responsibilities for health, physical education, and/or athletic programs.
